You should install systems to handle incoming leads, research properties, make offers and screen tenants. If you catch the right person at the right time, it can open new networking channels or give you access to a new wave of deals. Some of the best contacts you will make will be from people who have small deals or maybe you can’t do anything for, but you take the time to explain the process and help them out. You never know who has a friend or relative that is in the business or may need your help. That is how quickly your business can change and you can get busy or increase existing production. Being in the right place at the right time is not about getting a lucky lead. It is about doing the work and being prepared to handle sudden changes in business when they come.
